Shipping
Pieces ship within the US, carefully packed. Local pickup in Front Royal is free by arrangement.
Returns and exchanges
Cate wants you to completely love any piece you purchase. If something arrives damaged or you are not satisfied, contact her within 5 days of delivery and return the piece within 30 days so she can make things right. Order cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase. Custom and commissioned pieces are made for you and generally cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Caring for porcelain
Handmade porcelain is durable but not indestructible. Hand washing is kindest, especially for pieces with detailed glaze work. Avoid thermal shock: no oven, no open flame, and let a cold piece warm up before pouring in boiling water. Jewelry should be kept from hard knocks.
The nature of handmade
Small variations in form, color, and glaze are not flaws. They are the record of a piece made by hand and fired in a real kiln, and no two will ever match exactly.
